Faculty Resources
Faculty at the University of Nevada, Reno began using the WebCampus (formerly called WebCT) online course management system in the Fall of 1999.
Using WebCampus lets you efficiently leverage campus resources to both extend your department's offerings and enhance the teaching and learning experience. For example, one of the many benefits of using WebCampus includes the ability to offer an “always-on” environment, providing more time for the student to interact with professors and classmates as well as with the course material in an efficient, engaging and effective manner.
To Request a WebCampus Course Account
Do you plan to use the WebCampus course management system for the current or upcoming semester? If so, please submit a Course Request Form.
Please note the following:
- A course request form needs to be submitted each semester that you plan to use WebCampus so that we can upload your students into the course.
- You must be the course instructor of record in SIS to request a WebCampus account for an academic course.
- Although your online course is sometimes created on the same day that you submit the request form, we ask that you allow 2-3 weekdays to process your request during peak times.
