Instructional Designers, Teaching & Learning Technologies

What We Do:

The TLT instructional design team provides guidance, support, and resources for faculty who use the Web and other instructional media technologies to enhance instruction. The instructional designers work with individual faculty, departments, and colleges to help analyze, design, and implement programs that incorporate modern instructional methodologies and technologies. Additionally, the design team offers numerous workshops throughout the year to assist faculty in learning new instructional technologies and in applying those technologies in their teaching.

Summary of support services:

  • WebCT and instructional design workshops
  • WebCT course administration
  • Small group and individualized consultation
  • Evaluation of the use of instructional technologies using the Flashlight program
