Here's an example of how it works:
The Manage Files area of a WebCT course (on remote WebCT server)

After a WebDAV connection has been made and a Web folder created for your Course Files (My-Files) on your local computer, you should see the same folders and files.
On a Windows PC, the Web folder contents will look like the following:

On a Mac, the Goliath Web folder contents will look like the following:

Note: The WebCT-Files folder will not appear in the Web folder because it is a "private" folder whose contents cannot be added to, subtracted from, or revised in any way. Only folders located in the My-Files folder will appear in the WebDAV area of your local computer.
On your local computer, folders and files can now be dragged and dropped into your course's Web folder. Any file or folder dropped into your course's Web folder on your local computer are uploaded to your course's My-Files folder on the WebCT server.
Example:
The work_files Folder is dragged and dropped into this example's Web folder on a local computer.
This new folder, work_files Folder, can now be seen in the My-Files folder on the remote WebCT server.

The work_files folder in this example contained 6 files. Dragging and dropping it into the WebDAV folder was easy and saved a considerable amount of time.
